Job Description:          
The primary function of the Information Security Officer is to ensure that the Client technical teams are meeting relevant security standards, passing security audits, and otherwise reasonably protecting company and customer data. While performing this mission-critical function the key duties associated will include periodic audits of our infrastructure, reporting to our clients about remediation progress from such audit in the US region, and together with the rest of the Security team assist in development and maintenance of a more coherent, holistic security operations program for the fare collection system.

As the Information Systems Security Officer, the candidate will be interfacing with our client on a regular basis, and must have strong communication, organization and multi-tasking skills to ensure achievement of all contractual or agreed service level commitments and key performance indicators.

Outline of Duties:
Develop, maintain and deliver periodic security audits security reports to our client.
Operate or oversee managed-services operation of security-specific devices and software (e.g. firewalls, anti-virus, etc).
Network and Server design consulting with a security-minded focus.
Design, develop, document and maintain a complete Security Program.
Stay current with infosec trends, emerging threats and best practices, tailoring recommendations to our business and our client needs.

Basic Qualifications:
Prior information security experience.
Prior networking experience.
CISSP or equivalent SANS certification.
Specific information security training history, perhaps in conjunction with work experience.
Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and best-practice systems security and demonstrable success implementing and maintaining compliant environments.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Sound judgment when working with sensitive information.

Position Overview
