Location: Clifton, NJ
Description:
Required Experience:
Must have some experience in either radiation modeling and
analysis (preferred) or radiation testing.
Desired Skills:
BS/MS/PhD Degree in Physics, engineering or similar
technical field
5+ years of experience space radiation modeling, analysis
and testing
2+ years of experience in using one or more radiation
transport analysis (eg. GEANT4, MCNPX, NOVICE)
Able to present results/recommendations and communicate with
Customers and Senior Management
Experience in planning and execution of RLAT, SEE, ELDRS,
and FXR tests on components and subsystems.
Knowledge/experience in the effects of radiation, UV and
atomic oxygen on materials and components.
Experience in analysis, control and mitigation for
spacecraft charging.
Understanding of component and materials failure modes in
on-orbit environments (eg. latch-up)
Knowledge/use of Microsoft Office.
